infographic that displays the timeline for custom wedding invitations from revelry + heart

Not your typical blog today, but something I get a lot of questions based around is what the timeline for my designs looks like. I created this post to share (broadly) what the process looks like and give some insight on how I work with my couples.

In the first two weeks after booking, you’ll complete your wedding details questionnaire and hear from me about your mood board. Get pumped to talk about elements you love and those you don’t. BE HONEST! I’m not offended if you want to go in a different direction and the more I learn about your style now, the better your end design will be.

In the following 2-3 weeks, I’ll start building your custom designs from our conversations. If you see anything you want to incorporate in your custom design during this period, do share! After I create some design magic, I’ll share 2-3 designs for you to review and provide feedback on.

In the following 2(ish) weeks, we will collaborate on your additional proofs and create your additional pieces in your suite. It’s important to use these proofs to your advantage. After 2, additional proofs come at an additional charge. There are no limits to the number of edits you make in each proof, and I’m here if you need me to be the tiebreaker, advisor, or deciding factor!

After your final proof approval, allow 2 weeks for your hard sample to be delivered to your home. Once you get your sample and do a final review, you will approve for suite completion. Please review your proof carefully. While I do try to catch any obvious mistakes, I am not a proofreader. After you sign off on your final proof, your design goes to print.

Final delivery will be within 4 weeks of your hard sample approval. All suites come fully-assembled via signature confirmation shipping.
